A big thank you to Hollybush Garden Centre & Aquaria for donating us a lovely Cherry Tree, this is going to planted in the grounds of Waters Edge Care Home and will be included in the Queens Green Canopy a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

We are excited for the first Alpha Animal Day this January. On the 19th January we will be holding our Animal themed day across Waters Edge and Lakeview. All units will have animal themed decorations and hold special events throughout the day. Staff will be dressed as their favourite animals too!

Schools and brownie groups have created poppy pictures for our reception areas and windows, we have received over 500 knitted poppies and a fabulous crochet statue. We celebrated our Alpha Health Care Vintage Day with a lovely afternoon Tea and some fabulous entertainment from vintage singer Miss Beth Belle. Staff across Waters Edge and Lakeview dressed in Vintage clothes to make the day extra special.
